August 10, 1947 - March 1, 2020 Service Date: March 10, 2020 SERVICE LOCATION All Nations Pentecostal Church A Home Going Service honoring Annie’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at All Nation Pentecostal Church, 6634-16th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53143. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A repast celebration will follow the interment at Unity Lodge #367 F&AM, 4320 Washington Road, Kenosha, WI 53144. A visitation for Annie will be held at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. |
Annie McClinton, age 72, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Campus. Born on August 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Rufus McClung and Fannie M. Darden. Annie was employed as a Housekeeper for local hotels and banks for many years. She moved from Chicago in 1982 making Kenosha her home. She accepted Christ at an early age, and she attended All Nations Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Pastor Rosetta Burroughs where she was a mother of the church. She was an usher and whenever asked to serve, she was always willing with a smile. She loved fishing and eating out at various restaurants with her family as her past time. She will be remembered for her quiet voice, sweet soul, helping those in need, giving a word of advice when needed, and her beautiful smile that would brighten anyone’s day. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Brenda McClinton (Kenosha, WI); her son, Roy (Rhodia) McClinton (Racine, WI); her siblings, Patricia McClung (Marion, IN), Juanita McClung (Marion, IN), Janita Jackson (Marion, IN), Teresa McClung (Milwaukee, WI), Khara McClung (Chesterfield, MI), Curtis McClung (Marion, IN), Archie McClung (Marion, IN), Esley (Josephine) McClung (Marion, IN), Samuel McClung (Marion, IN), David (Regina) James (Belzoni, MS); and her best friend, Andrew Edwards. She is further survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews; and her god daughter, Deanna Farley; who were all dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by her father, Rufus McClung ; her mother, Fannie M. Darden; her son, Jerry Darden; and her siblings, Grover Darden, Monroe Darden, Fannie Darden, Lue Darden, Daisy Morgan, Odie McClung , Linda McClung , Robert Lee McClung , Essie McClung and Reola McClung .
