Funeral Services honoring Sarah’s life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A visitation for Sarah will be held on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrance to Women’s and Children’s Horizons, 2525 63rd St, Kenosha, WI 53143, would be appreciated.

Sarah “Jane” J. Hansen, age 74 of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Hospice Alliance, Inc./Hospice House.

Born in Holly Spring, MS on October 29, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Opal Patterson.

In 1991, in Kenosha, she was united in marriage to Peter Hansen.

Sarah was employed with American Motors/Chrysler Corporation until her retirement.

She was family oriented and always involved herself around them. Sarah loved the outdoors and she enjoyed fishing and camping; especially at Broken Bow in Minocqua. She will always be remembered as being very strong and funny. Sarah was always willing to lend a helping hand and open her home to many people.

She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Hansen; her children, Norman (Sue) Lilley, Paula (Frank) Hart, Peter (Shane) Hansen, Terry (Kenny) Redlin and Donny (Kimmy) Hansen; her siblings, James D. ”Butch” (Theresa) Patterson and Douglas Hart; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Dean Heatherly, Bobby Lee Patterson and Rex Patterson.
