Helen T. Miklasiewicz, age 93, formerly of Kenosha, found her eternal peace on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Born on April 20, 1921 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late John and Stella (Karpinska) Ajzel. She moved to Poland as an infant, received her education in Poland and returned to Kenosha in 1947. On April 28, 1951 at St. Casimir Catholic Church, she was married to Joseph Miklasiewicz. After 50 years together, Joseph passed away on February 28, 2002. Helen was employed as a housekeeper for 22 years with St. Catherine’s Hospital; retiring after working for the Simmons Company for a few years. Helen was a devote Catholic; faith and family, played an important role in her life. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the former St. Casimir Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. Casimir’s Church Choir and St. Hedwig’s Society She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, crafts and cooking. After her husband passed away, Helen moved to Wild Rose, WI to be closer to her family. She is survived by her two children, Richard Miklasiewicz and Jeanette Ruckhaber and her granddaughter, Michelle; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Stash and Steven Ajzel and two sisters, Janina Kunda and Theodora Pzytula. |
