John C. Housner, age 54 of Kenosha, reunited with his Dad on Thursday, October 31, 2019, while he was doing what he loved; hunting, in Oconto County. Born in Kenosha on December 15, 1964, he was the son of John V. and Nancy (Barribeau) Housner. He attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School. He was employed as a Semi-Truck Driver with Coca Cola Bottling Company. John was an all-around outdoorsman. He loved camping at Lazy Days Campground, fishing and hunting. John was kind-hearted and a jokester. He was always willing to help others, and was known as the “go to” man and Mr. Fix-It. He is survived by his son, John D. Housner; his mother, Nancy Housner; his sisters, Deanna (Dennis) Stich, Jackie (Mike) Zirbel, Cindy Persson and Heidi (Troy) Judeika; and his loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John V. Housner; his brother-in-law, Dave Persson; and his paternal and maternal grandparents. The family would like to extend a special thank you to John’s friend and neighbor, Gary Jenko and to Eric Waters along with his whole Lazy Days family for their love and support they have given.
