December 30, 1931 - October 7, 2019 Service Date: October 14, 2019 Funeral services honoring John’s life will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Piasecki Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 14th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private inurnment will take place in St. James Cemetery. |

John Richard Pease, age 87, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie. Born on December 30, 1931 in Kenosha, WI, he was the adoptive son of Erkard and Mable Jessen. John attended local schools as a young child and later attended the Kenosha Achievement Center, working five days a week as a small parts assembler. On December 6, 1984, John married Betty who preceded him in death on March 16, 1991. Walking was one of John’s favorite past times, this hobby enabled him to meet and interact with people from all parts of town. Being known for his twinkly blue eyes, hardy laugh and broad smile, he soon became loved by all who knew him. John had a strong faith in God and attended church regularly. John is survived by a foster brother, Paul Jessen; nieces, nephews, foster parents, Keith and Tarha Willenson and several close friends; especially Alma Booker, who will all remember him most for his love and loyalty to all who knew him and to the enthusiasm, dedication and perseverance he gave to life. Special thank you to the friends at Open Arms Assisted Living and his caregiver, Tarah Mengo for the loving care given to John.
