Steven R. Brandt, 63, of Kenosha Wisconsin passed peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born on in Flint, MI on March 12, 1956, he was the son of the late Steven and Frances (Arnold) Brandt. On August 20, 1988 in Lincoln Park, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Sluga. Steve was employed as a Pipefitter with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #118. His many jobs included the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant and Miller Park. Steve was the life of the party and he liked music and singing. He had an incredible voice and he had traveled with his portable karaoke machine in his car. He loved spending time with his family; especially during the holidays, family get-togethers and cookouts. Steve was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, and he had a special liking of Cadillacs and Harley Davidsons. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends and anyone in need. Steve would make himself available to help others with home or car repairs. Since someone had to “supervise” projects, he was the man for the job. Steve had a witty sense of humor. He left a lasting impression with anyone he met. Steve was the king of telling it like it is and doing what he wanted, when he wanted to! Steve will always be remembered as a fun loving, kind-hearted family man. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rhonda; his children, Kristy (Walter) Jepson, Alyssa (Paul) Doerflinger, Stacey (Chris) Moore and Steven (Rachel) Brandt; his brother, Tom Brandt; his sisters, Barb Brandt, Kathy (Loren) Dowell and Linda (Jerry) Cooper, his many grandchildren who he adored, Jacob, Abby, Luke, Ava, Logan, Amiya, Bub, Calvyn, Aiyden, Logan and Stevie, Jr. and many loving nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved sister, Laurie Brennan. A special thank you is extended to the hospital staff at Froedtert South for their loving care and support during Steve’s final days. |
