Robert William Einhorn, 72, of Bristol, WI passed away on February 22, 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri. Bob was born in Rockford, Illinois to Ellwood and Ruth Einhorn on September 13, 1946. When Bob was around one, his family took a year and moved to Oregon. After five years or so the family returned to Rockford where Bob attended school in a one-room schoolhouse. By the time he had reached high school his family had relocated once again, this time to Chicago. Bob graduated from William J. Bogan High School in 1965. After high school, Bob proudly served his country by joining the United States Army. After his military service, Bob went on to receive his Associates in Science in 1974 from Triton College and his Bachelor of Arts in 1975 from Northeastern Illinois University. From there, Bob started his career in the field of information technology for educational objectives. In this field Bob worked for Triton College, Midwest Systems, City Colleges of Chicago-Europe, Lincoln University, College of Lake County, and New Mexico Military Institute. While working for the College of Lake County, Bob obtained two masters degrees: Master of Project Management in 2004 and Master of Network and Communication Management in 2006. He met and dated Melanie Wieczorek for five years after which they married on February 2, 1991. Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed being with his family and pets, working outside, hiking, traveling, driving his mustang, photography, and mistaking bison for bears. Bob was also an avid sports fan. Bob is survived by his wife Melanie; his daughters with Melanie, Sabrina and Tori Einhorn; his daughters from a previous marriage, Jennifer Einhorn and Elizabeth Fink; and granddaughter, Samantha Moriarity; his sister, Carol Einhorn; and his brother, Vernon Einhorn. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Joan. |
