Roger V. “Rusty” Vincent, III, age 55 of Kenosha, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Born in Kenosha on February 20, 1959, he was the son of Roger V. Vincent, Jr. and Phyllis (Engdahl) Vincent. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Walter Reuther Central High School. For many years, Rusty worked for various employers, using his friendly and caring attitude to help his customers. He most recently was employed by Aurora Medical Center and Pick & Save pharmacies delivering pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, he was employed by CJW Inc. in sales and delivery. Beginning as a young boy, he developed his unconditional love of sports. He found great joy rooting for his favorite local and national teams. For many years, he had the privilege of coaching the Ken-Crete Little League team side by side with his father, Roger. When Rusty became a proud father, his love for his daughter, JoAnna always came first. He struggled with his father to be a CUBS fan, once being a hockey player himself, he was a big fan of the Blackhawks and was a loyal Packer Backer. Baseball spring training season was not official unless Rusty was able to travel to Arizona and take in a few games, inspired by his parents who shared the same interests. He shared and attended many sporting events with his extended family. Rusty enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, especially his annual trip north with his longtime buddies. He loved Rock N’ Roll, Summerfest, and attended many concerts. Most of all, he treasured his time with family, and will be fondly remembered as “The Dancing Machine”. Rusty’s greatest attribute was his genuine love and generosity for people. Everyone who knew him loved him, his enormous heart and his kind spirit. He would have done anything for his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his mother and best friend, Phyllis Vincent; his beautiful daughter, JoAnna (Andrew Cordell) Vincent; his siblings, Christine “Chris” (Bill Becker) Vincent, Lauren “Laurie” (Tim) Cross, and Jon (Jeanne) Vincent; and his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger V. Vincent, Jr. on April 29, 2000. |
