Daniel Briane Buress, 54, re-entered the astral plane on Monday, Dec.1. From somewhere between the earth and the edge of the universe, Dan smiles upon us as he strums his guitarand sings his eternal song. And with his Nikon in tow, he’ll forever be shooting the cosmiclandscape as only he could. Dan was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and graduate from Bradford High School. For over twenty years he helped power Kenosha as a dedicated plant operator at the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant. Dan leaves behind a beautiful legacy of music, art, literature, and a love that will be impossible to forget. Whether it was comical or cynical, philosophical or political, Dan always had something meaningful to add to the conversation. He had such a knowledge which most of us could only dream. Left to keep his memory alive are his sissies, Kathy (Louis) Modory and Doreen (John) Garza; his nephews, John Modory, Andrew Modory, Josh Modory and Aaron Garza; his niece, Sarah Garza; as well as many cousins, and his extended family at the Bull ‘n Bear. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise (nee: Corradini) Buress and his father, Daniel D. Buress. An extra special kind of gratitude needs to be given to Dr. James Bury, Dr. Herbert Roerich, and to Dr. Brian Hettrick. They are indeed angels who walk among us. Oh Danny Boy, the pipes have called. |
