July 21, 1961 - June 8, 2019 Service Date: June 18, 2019 A Home Going Service honoring Frances’ life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home. Private interment will take place in Green Ridge Cemetery. A visitation for Frances will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. |

Frances Marie Jones, age 57 of Racine, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 21, 1961, she was the daughter of L.C. Miner, Sr. and Clara S. (Wright) Miner. Frances studied Interior Decorating and Design at the University of Arkansas. She was an exceptional artist and loved to draw and refurbish furniture. Frances had a special skill for styling hair and applying make-up. She is survived by her children, Latesha Johnson, Zakieius Carr, Sampson Cook and Charles Scott, Jr.; her siblings, Lula (Isaac) Brown, L.C. Miner, Jr., Clara (Jamie) McKewon, Katherine Miner, Clyde (Benita Lott) Miner and Barbara (Percy Pipes) Miner and four grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Lazarius Cook; her brother, Calvin Miner; and her two sisters, Jacqueline Avery and Ella Louise Lee. | |
