Ethel M. Dougherty, age 75 of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Vista East, Waukegan, IL. She was born on May 21, 1944 in Little Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Genevieve (Randall) Trimm. She was a 1962 graduate of New Hartford High School. On December 30, 1961 in Chadwick, NY, she was united in marriage to Robert A. Dougherty. Ethel was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She used her hospitality to welcome others into her home. In her younger years, Ethel was a former member of The Women’s Group Missionettes, Grace Assembly in Syracuse, NY and New Believers Bible Study. She is survived by her husband, Bob; her children, Rebecca (Andy) Thorsen, Lorianne (Daniel) Johnson, Rachelle (John) Schmidley, Nicole (Joe) Riley and Robert (Kelly) Dougherty, II; her sister, Betty Ford; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Trimm and a sister, Hazel LaCelle.
