Mark Peter Gontscharow, 54, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018, at Froedtert South-Kenosha Medical Center. Born in Kenosha on January 10, 1964; the son of George and Marie (Benoit) Gontscharow. He attended St. Mark Catholic Elementary school, graduating from Tremper High School and furthered his education with classes at Gateway Technical Institute. Mark married Janet Ward at St. Peter Catholic Church on September 28, 1985. They were blessed with four children and 33 years of marriage. While he was employed at Shiloh Industries in Pleasant Prairie for many years; Mark also worked diligently at St. Peter’s Parish. He was a member of the parish council and shared his faith as a confirmation teacher. Mark served on the Knights of Columbus Stanisfaus Papczynski # 16765. Chances are if you got corn at the St. Peter’s festival, you met Mark. He gave you a good conversation, plenty of butter and a smile. He was often found cheering on the Packers or cheering even harder at his grandkids sporting events. When possible he went to the World of Outlaws Sprint Car races with his friends. This hard working, willing to lend a helping hand, man, leaves behind his wife, Janet; his three sons, Marshell (Natisha), Mark and Timothy; his grandchildren, Avry, Aidan, Landen and Alanna; his parents, George and Marie; his brother, Paul (Tricia); his sister, Cathy (Jason) Broadway and a large extended family that will one day join his daughter, Samantha in heaven. Mark will no doubt find a great place to take his boys fishing when they join him and the perfect place to take his wife upon their arrival into the kingdom of heaven. We love you Mark Peter Gontscharow and we will miss you! |
