Born on April 5, 1932 in Pleasant Prairie, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Staudenmeier) Ruhle, Sr. She attended local schools. On September 18, 1954 at St. Therese Lisieux Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Henry “Hank” Weinberger, Jr. Sadly, after 45 years of marriage, Henry passed away on May 21, 1999. She was a faithful charter member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church and was a former member of the St. Therese Christian Mothers Society. In addition to baking for the many different church functions, she loved to put her talent to use for any other occasion. Betty also sold tickets at the Lenten fish fries and sold SCRIP before and after Mass. Betty was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the Soup Kitchen at the Kenosha Shalom Center. She enjoyed attending local sporting events with her husband, Hank. They attended fast pitch recreational softball games played by her family and friends back in the 1960’sand 1970’s. Having no children of their own, they also attended the recreational and school-related sporting events of her nephews and nieces. As they grew older, they faithfully followed the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Betty will always be remembered by her brother, Eugene (Jennie) Ruhle; her brother-in-law, Bud Hillesland; her sisters-in-law, Opal Ruhle, Cleo Nedweski and Marie Weinberger; her special nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
