Dr. Joseph E. Fiorini, age 84 of Sheboygan Falls, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Born in Kenosha on December 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elba (Sentieri) Fiorini. Joseph was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. He furthered his education by attending St. Mary’s College in Winona, MN, Marquette University and the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated magna cum laude in 1957. On July 9, 1955 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Beverly Wiley. For 35 years, Joseph was a trusted local Podiatrist. He retired in 1989, and moved to Lake Geneva. In 2006, he moved to Sheboygan Falls to be closer to his family. He was an Associate in the American College of Foot Surgeons, the Board of Trustees of the Wisconsin Podiatry Society, Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and former president of the Wisconsin Society of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Joseph lectured on podiatric care throughout the Midwest. He also participated in the DOCARE Medical Mission in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. He was a past member of the Knight of Columbus, Junior Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis International, and founding member of the St Joseph Athletic Association Board. In 2005, he was a recipient of the Italian Business and Professional Association Recognition Award and in 2015, he was inducted into the St. Joseph Lancer Athletic Hall of Fame. Joe was a charming, kind-hearted man with a witty sense of humor. He enjoyed golfing, boating, spending time in Lake Geneva and having morning coffee at Harry’s Café. He loved watching the Packers and Badgers. He liked music, especially Frank Sinatra, jazz and playing the accordion. He was blessed to have friends/paisans who kept in touch with him throughout the years. Above all, his family meant the world to him. Dr. Joseph will always be remembered by his loving wife of 62 years, Beverly; his six children, Laura of Greenfield, Joseph (Michelle Richard) of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael of Kailua, HI, Kathleen (Keith) Musha of Tampa, FL, David (Laurie) of Greenbush, WI and Anthony of Downers Grove, IL. He is furthers survived by his seven grandchildren, Joseph and Nichole Brewer and Dominic, Angela, Michael, Giovanni and Sofia Fiorini; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Watring.
