Eleanore M. Becker, age 93, of Kenosha, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 20, 2014.
Born in Kenosha on September 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Florence (Zimmerman) Angelo. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools and was a 1939 graduate of Kenosha High School.
On April 19, 1941, Eleanore was united in marriage to Rudolf Becker in Dubuque, IA. They were blessed with two children and 58 years of marriage before he passed away on April 26, 1999.
Eleanore was employed with Ace Hardware for 20 years, retiring in 1976 and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
In her earlier years, she was an avid bowler and was a member of the 600 club. Eleanore enjoyed yard work, flower gardening, but most of all, looked forward to spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her two children, Rudolf (Donna) Becker and Carol (Richard) Kerst; a sister, Elaine (Norman) Schulte; three grandchildren, Debra (Jeremiah) Crespo, Jeffrey (Marisol) and Richard (Jennifer) Becker; 7 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanore was preceded in death by a sister, Bernadette Angelo and a brother, Richard Angelo.
