Mary “Kay” Meyers, age 75 of Kenosha, died on Monday, June 23, 2014 at Aurora Medical Center.
Born in Monico, WI on July 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Hazel M. (Bricco) Meyers. As a child, she moved with her family to Kenosha. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
For over 43 years, Kay was employed as an accountant with various accounting firms. She most recently was employed with Tirabassi, Feland and Clark, LLC, until her retirement.
Kay was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards. Her favorite card games were cribbage, pinochle and poker.
She will always be remembered by her loving cousins, Dorothy Johnson of Kenosha, Patricia (Bernard) Blise of Kenosha, Laurie (Gilbert) Llanas of South Milwaukee, Rae Bednarski of Rothschild, WI, Daniel (Elvira) Stevens of Rhinelander, and Thomas (Vivian) Stevens of Rhinelander; and her caring friend, Ron Grove of Kenosha.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her cousin, James Volk.
