Born on July 3, 1929 in Marietta, MS, she was a daughter of the late James and Nona (Williams) Warren. Zana attended schools in Mississippi.
On October 4, 1947 in Mantachie, MS, she was united in marriage to James R. Moreland. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2007.
She was employed with AMC/Chrysler retiring in 1989.
Zana was a member of the Church of Christ in Kenosha. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with those she loved.
Zana is survived by her three children, Teresa (Paul) Urbans, Pamela (Stanley) Colvin, and Steven (Gretchen) Moreland; ten grandchildren, Jessica (Tom) Boschuetz, Jaime (Jake) Dieman, Tiffany, Todd and Joel Merten, Tonya (Jon) Nations, Nathaniel (Katelyn) Colvin, and Landon, Nona and Avery Moreland; twelve great grandchildren and her sister Elizabeth Franks.
Along with her parents and husband, Zana was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Zana’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the loving staffs of both St. Joseph Home and Hospice Alliance.
Service Date October 16, 2015
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
