Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintWilliam Harry Meurer, Jr., age 62, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his residence in Kenosha.
Born on February 15, 1960 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late William and Cynthia (Gulbransen) Meurer, Sr.
On May 7, 1983, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth “Liz” Mikos at St. Lambert’s Parish in Skokie, IL. In June of 1994 they had their only child, Jacob “Jake” Meurer.
Bill worked for Local 281 as a sprinkler fitter. He was then a Production Supervisor for Compass Minerals until retirement.
In his retirement, he enjoyed finding and refurbishing stereo equipment. He loved music loudly played and often said “give it 3db”, meaning turn it up! He was also a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed Hamm’s beer and collecting Hamm’s memorabilia.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Liz; his son, Jake; his siblings, Mark (Karen) Montague, Susan (Bob) Anderson, Bradley “Brad” Meurer, Cheryl (Pero) Radulovic.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Montague and Jimmy Meurer.
Service Date August 13, 2022
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
