Dear Ruth, Ginny, Sue & Families, So very sorry to learn of the loss of your husband and father. Bill was one of the nicest men I ever knew. A true gentleman. May your memories bring you comfort and peace. Donna

Dear Ruthann, so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved dad. Still remember him so clearly at Jockey as Vice President, Advertising - such an enthusiastic "champion" for Jockey, and so personable. Hoping you and your dear family know all the well wishes going out to you in your time of loss. Warmly, Sue Mattner

Dear Ruth, It has been a privilege to be Bill's friend and business associate. There are fond memories of all the personal time he and I spent together and of those Herrmann wedding celebrations. Bill's contribution to Jockey's success should be legendary as he authored and created some of the most successful advertising seen in America's apparel industry. Not only did Bill produce the Jim Palmer campaign re-introducing the Jockey brand of men's underwear and assemble the Real People models who launched Jockey for Her but his creativity and management touched advertising, public relations, package design, and promotional strategy year after year. Few managers have enjoyed the loyalty and respect that his "team" had for him and he generously gave them the credit for every success. Mary and I regret that we are unable to attend the memorial and the celebration of Bill's life but we will remember him for his friendship, his humor, and his always positive view of life. Howard

Dearest Ginny and the entire Herrmann family My deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad, Bill. I remember so many many times that your family welcomed me into your fold. And those rides to Bradford!!!! Poor dad, listening to our girl chatter! He was a wonderful family man. My wish is that you can find peace, yet take the time to get there. Hugs and kisses will do you all wonders. I am sure your dad would say the same. Peg
