Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintWade F. “Ruby” Yates, age 76 of Bristol, died peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Lakeview Specialty Hospital, Waterford, WI.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was born on September 3, 1940 and was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Tutlewski) Yates.
He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army.
On July 18, 1969 in Kenosha he was united in marriage to LieLani Clause.
For over 30 years, he was employed with Snap-On-Tools as a Machinist. He was a loyal member and active union representative for Snap-On’s IAMAW-International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge #34.
He enjoyed fishing bowling, gambling, and was an avid blues fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, LieLani Yates. He was the beloved father of, Connie Yates and lifelong beloved step-father of Randy and Ricky Julius; seven grandchildren; four precious great grandchildren; his sister, Sandra Zizzo; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service Date January 4, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Wade’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment with full military honors will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
