Born in Rota Gerca, Italy on July 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dorante and Modesta (Provenrao) Zappa.
Venere was employed as a Teacher’s Assistant for Gateway Adult Learning Center for over 30 years.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Venere was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1958 with her family. She enjoyed going to the casino, was an avid Greenbay Packers fan; but most of all, she loved to travel especially to visit family in Italy.
Venere is survived by her siblings, Antoinette Spallato, Eselia Carnevale and Frances (James) Prevost; her brother-in-law, Frank Alia; her sister-in-law, Velia Zappa; her goddaughter, Andrea. She is furthered survived by many loving nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews; her best friends, Anna Sexton and Marisa Cima.
In addition to her parents, Venere was preceded in death by her brother, Dominic; her sister, Nina; her brothers-in-law, Phillip Spallato and Joseph Carnevale; her nephew, Frank Alia and her great nephews, Joshue Resch and Jason Richardson.

SERVICE LOCATION Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church
Funeral services honoring Venere’s life will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street, Kenosha, WI.
Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
A visitation for Venere will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home.
