I just found out about this :-( Tracy, it's been a long, long time, but I never forgot you. I am very saddened by this. I'm sorry I never called you back, but I have and will continue to think about you.

If I could describe my friends, Tracy and Mike, I would say that they are “humble.” They made everyone who walked into their second home in Neshkoro feel welcome. Filling our bellies with the best cooking that felt like love and comfort, then sending you home with leftovers. Always warm, inviting, and kind, Tracy loves to crochet. She made blankets for her family and friends by touching every inch of the yarn creating a beautiful blanket with the warmth and love she made with every stitch. I wrapped myself with the blanket she made for me last night, and it felt like she was hugging me. I am so blessed to have this amazing woman in my life and call her my friend. As a nature enthusiast, Tracy enjoyed floating down the White River while tubing with her buddies. I humorously called us,”the housewives of Neshkoro” packing our favorite junk food and our adult drinks. We enjoyed each other’s company, talking about nothing, being silly, and of course, sharing our junk food. Another part of our common bond, as “the housewives of Neshkoro” was having cancer. We understood sometimes this meant seeing less of each other and texting became more of a priority. Tracy didn’t want us to see her decline. She wanted us to remember her for the good times. Friendship thoughtfulness even when it’s hard to handle. They’re were many river lessons to learn. Tracy’s motto was “always be kind”. Everyone’s perspective can be different from yours. That doesn’t mean you have to agree with everything they say. Stay objective, listen, and always be kind. We don’t need any more meanness in this world. Saying kind words are more meaningful. We also talked about cancer and it’s unspoken thoughts then took them away, never to be heard again. Understanding kindness, and love, outweighs everything else. I will always remember her footsteps in the sand, the white river, and the laughter that she brought us. I will always cherish my river lessons. Thank you and we love you!

My deepest sympathy to Tracy's entire family. I was shocked to read today's Kenosha News and see that she had passed away. I did not realize how serious her illness was. I met Tracy many years ago... when my late husband, Lynn, and I would stop at Ron's every Friday night. She was a friendly, kind, and very thoughtful lady. May God's love and peace be with all of you at this very difficult and sad time.

I'm so sorry to hear Tracy has passed. We were good friends growing up and later I would run into her at Ron's Place or around town. She will be missed. Keeping Tracy and her family in my prayers.
