Tonja was one of my favorite persons in the world, let alone cousins - sorry fellow surviving cousins :) The Ingalsbe brothers and the Slater kids were very close growing up, and although our distance increased as we aged, the memories and the sporadic encounters around holiday times really drove home our love for each other and solidified Tonja’s unique and beautiful character - almost always positive (literally!), always loving of family, always willing to live and love and share, always smiling :) !! Tonja will me missed by all she touched, and thank God we have surviving family to carry on her memory, and build upon her nothing-short-of glorious legacy.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the Stratton and Slater families. I met Tonja when we attended junior high school and have been friends since. What a source of joy and light she has been in spite of whatever challenges life presented. I will miss her laughter the most. Heaven will “glitter” with its newest angel. Liz Breitenbach Warnock

We were so sadden to hear of Tonja’s sudden and unexpected passing. Our fondest memory of Tonja is the Survival Party put on her by Aunt Audrey & Uncle Rock. The people there were all fans of the hit show, Survivor. That night was filled with so many laughs, and just a lot of fun. We really got to see Tonja’s fun filled spirit and style! She was not afraid to be Tonja! What you see is what you get, from her million style smile, to her laugh and lastly to the sparkles in her hair! Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Go shake it up Tonja! We will miss you. Mark & Vicki
