Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintTimothy J. Kos passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Hospice Alliance, Inc., Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie with his loving wife at his side.
Born in Kenosha on July 26, 1949, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Lueck) Kos. Timothy was educated in Kenosha, graduating from Tremper High School.
On June 27, 1981 he married Joy Y. Matera and made Kenosha their home.
Timothy was employed at Peter Pirsch & Co., Frost Manufacturing, G Leblanc, Martin Peterson and Andis companies; retiring in 2014.
He enjoyed hosting pool parties and garage band get togethers with friends. Tim hobbies included collecting sports and patriotic memorabilia, reading history, playing computer games and collecting musical instruments. He was an avid Packer fan. Tim will be missed for his caring personality and his wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Joy; a son, Donovan (Mindi) Matera; 3 granddaughters, Talia, Tegan and Melanie; a brother, Robin (Ginny) Haebig; 3 sisters, Debi (Marvin) Mattox, Judi Molinaro and Joy E. Kos; brother in law, Scott Kobs along with many nieces and nephews and his faithful golden retriever, Bailey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Berrier.
A special thank you to the 3 Palmer staff at Froedtert South of Kenosha, Dr.’s Bloom, Hagen and Alderman along with the Hospice House staff for their wonderful care and compassion shown to Tim.
Service Date September 29, 2018
In accordance with Tim’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at the Fireside Restaurant, 2801 30th Avenue on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Packer attire is encouraged.
