Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintThomas G. Koroscik, age 86, was born into eternal life on March 2, 2017, following a long battle with cancer while in hospice care.
He was born in Kenosha on March 22, 1930 and was the son of the late Thomas and Adela Koroscik.
The summer after graduating from Bradford High School, he married his sweetheart, Gloria VanKammen on August 5, 1950. They were together until her death in early 2010.
While living in Kenosha, Thomas was employed with Nash/AMC, the Kenosha Public Museum, and the UAW – Local 72.
He was an active member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church and was a previous member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. His contributions included: church council, CUSH, Crop Walk, Reader, Usher, Greeter, Luther League Advisor, Shalom Soup Kitchen, Lord of Life Men’s Club, and countless bible studies.
Thomas’ activities outside of church included bowling, dancing (square, round, line), swimming, fishing, boating, camping, duplicate bridge, and a Boy Scout Leader.
In July 2007, Thomas and Gloria moved to Friendswood, TX to spend time with the southern contingent of their family and to escape the harsh Wisconsin winters.
Thomas is survived by his four children: son, Daniel (Judith) Koroscik, daughter, Janet Koroscik, daughter, Debra (Gary) Duncan and son, David (Janell) Koroscik; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving family members and friends.
Service Date March 11, 2017
Funeral Services honoring Thomas’ life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5601 Washington Rd. Private interment will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
