Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintTheodore J. “Ted” Bulik, age 88 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab Center, after a short illness.
Born in Kenosha on September 8, 1930, he was the son of Ignatz and Emily (Grno) Bulik.
Ted served in the United States Army for two years during the Korean War. He was stationed in Texas where he married Jeanette Pansewicz in 1952. Their union was later dissolved.
Following the war, Ted came home and started employment with Nash/AMC. He was a dedicated employee for over 30 years, retiring in 1988 from their facility maintenance department. Ted was also a cook at Freddie’s Bar. Prior to AMC, Ted was employed at Simmons Company.
On December 28, 1972 in Waukegan, IL, he was united in marriage to Nellie Nichols. After 22 years of marriage, Nellie preceded him in death.
He was a member of Ke-Nash-A Club #590 and U.A.W. Local #72 Retirees. Ted enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife, Nellie.
Ted is survived by his three sons, Jeff (Beverly) Bulik, Kurt Bulik and Rick (Cynthia) Bulik; two daughters, Patricia Kennedy and Nancy Bulik; a sister, Steffie Scoville; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nellie Bulik; his stepson, James Hudson; his great-great granddaughter, Melissa Hudson; his former wife, Jeanette Bulik; and his brother in law, Lynn Scoville.

Funeral Services honoring Ted’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53168. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
