Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintTeresa “Terri” F. Dreifke, age 89, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017 at Hospitality Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Kenosha on August 17, 1927, she was one of five children born to Fausto and Elizabeth (Mattioli) Marocchi.
On April 30, 1949 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Carl E. Dreifke. He preceded her in death on December 9, 1996.
A lifetime resident of Kenosha, she graduated from Bradford High School in 1945 with honors. She worked at Simmons, Korf’s and Sears. She loved interacting with the customers at Sears.
Terri enjoyed making crafts, spending time with her friends and family and trying her luck at the casinos. She especially cherished talking about the good old days and how the family celebrated those times.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Randy (Michelle) Dreifke, her daughters, Denise (Dreifke) Mynor and Dawn (Dreifke) Poole; her sisters Dolores Yule and JoAnn Gallo; her brother, Robert Marocchi; her three grandchildren, Ryan (Amanda) Dreifke, Matthew (Natalle) Dreifke and Ashton Mynor and her great grandson, Benjamin Dreifke.
Terri’s family would like to thank the staff at Hospitality Nursing and Rehabilitation Center along with Hospice Alliance for the loving care they gave Terri.
Service Date June 14, 2017
Funeral services honoring the life of Teresa will be held on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary Catholic Church, 7300 39th Ave. Interment will follow in St George Cemetery.
