Sueko “Sue” Buswell, age 93 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Froedtert South – St. Catherine’s Hospital campus.
Sueko was born on April 30, 1925 in Gunma, Japan, and was the daughter of the late Hikojiro and Shizuya (Tanaka) Negishi.
On July 27, 1956 in Tokyo, Japan, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Buswell. Sadly, after 49 years of marriage, Robert preceded her in death on October 9, 2005.
She will be remembered for her love of watching FOX News “Very Loudly” and her love of sweets.
She is survived by her two daughters, Irene Niccolai and Linda (Kevin) Strangberg, and her three grandchildren, Trevor (Brylee) Niccolai, Alex (fiancé-Tess McTernan) Strangberg and Samantha Strangberg.
Along with her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by her siblings, Fujiko, Shigeo, Masao, Itideo and Takao Negishi.
Funeral services honoring the life of Sueko will be held privately. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
