He was born in Zion, IL on November 20, 1958 and was the son of Ronald and Mary (LaDuke) Ford.
On October 22, 1994 in Zion, IL he was united in marriage to Lynn Baxter.
He was employed by McShane Construction as a laborer/Carpenter for 28years. After that he was employed by J.I Case as a line lead. After retirement he found great joy being employed by Costco as a food demonstrator.
He was a huge Bear and Badger fan. He enjoyed fishing, boating, riding his Harley, camping, playing horseshoes and playing cards. Steve cherished spending special time with his grandson, Myles, who was his whole world.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Lynn; his daughter, Kristen Larsen and her significant other, Marcus; his grandsons, Myles Carter and Liam Robert, his sisters Ronda Smith, Lori (Ronald) English; his brother, Dave Ford and his significant other, Bernadette along with many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service honoring Steve’s life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Piasecki -Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI.
