Born in Kenosha, WI on May 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Eugene and Ruth (White) Lacki and resided in Brookfield, WI for over 30 years.
Steve attended Tremper High School in Kenosha, WI and graduated from Maderia High School in Maderia, OH. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and was an active member of Delta Chi Fraternity.
He began working at Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and continued his professional career at Eaton Corporation, Anderson Electric Controls, Inc., ABB, Inc., and Magnetek, along with various consulting roles specializing in Strategic Marketing and Business Development.
Steve was very musically inclined, writing and recording his own musical pieces. He enjoyed reading, boating, attending Summer Fest, as well as being an active sports enthusiast of basketball, football, baseball and car racing.
Steve is survived by his sister Margaret Lacki of Naperville, IL.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Lacki.

SERVICE LOCATION St. James Cemetery
A graveside service honoring Stephen’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 in St. James Cemetery.
