Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintStephanie M. Montemurro, age 97 of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Froedtert South – St. Catherine’s Hospital Campus, with her loving family by her side.
A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on May 8, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Julius and Anna (Jakobi) Hodal.
On March 27, 1938 in Valparaiso, IN, she was united in marriage to William Montemurro, Sr. Sadly, he preceded her in death.
Stephanie was a dedicated homemaker.
She was a very talented crafter and avid book reader. Stephanie had a great sense of humor and could light up the room.
She is survived by her children, Anthony (Kathy) Montemurro; Carol Steinhoff and Linda Jorgensen; her sister, Annie Klem; her many loving nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Leonard and William Montemurro, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Jane, Rudy, Helen and Mildred.
In accordance with Stephanie’s wishes, private funeral services were held. Interment took place in St. George Cemetery.
