Sophie F. Duba, age 85, of Kenosha, passed away at the Clairidge House on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Born on June 11, 1929 in Peshtigo, WI, she was the youngest of seven children born to Anton and Frances (Ostrauj) Labunski.
Raised and educated in Peshtigo, Sophie met and married Frank H. Duba there on November 19, 1949. They were blessed with two children and 60 years of marriage before he passed away on April 22, 2010.
Although Sophie spent most of her time caring for their disabled daughter, Mary, she took great pride in her garden where she grew and sold apples and strawberries and also raised rabbits.
Sophie will be deeply missed by her daughter, Helen Miller. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Frances in 1996 and her four brothers and two sisters.

Service Date July 10, 2014
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held in St. Casimir Cemetery.
