Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintShirley Ann Olson, age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep of natural causes at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital in Kenosha WI on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born to the late Michael and Selma Kowalewski in Owen, WI on April 18, 1936. Shirley was a patron at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High, then moved to Kenosha where she worked in the laboratory at St. Catherine’s Hospital for 30 years.
Shirley was blessed with a large and loving family. For 66 years she was married to John Frederick Olson and raised their four daughters, Patricia (Thomas Wade), Margaret, Carolyn (Joseph Perrine) and Karen (Mark Szalapski) who proceeds her and death. Their happiness multiplied with the addition of six grandchildren and thirteen adoring great grandchildren.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by family, friends, and all that knew her.

SERVICE LOCATION St. Elizabeth Catholic Church
Funeral services honoring Shirley’s life will be held Monday, February 28, 2022.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Ave. Kenosha WI.
A visitation for Shirley will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at church.
Private interment will take place later in All Saints Mausoleum.
