A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on June 25, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Herman “Willie” and LaVonne (Haywood) Stein. Sharon graduated from Bradford High School and the Racine School of Cosmetology.
Sharon dedicated her life to many veteran causes. She was a member and past president of the V.F.W. Post #1865 Ladies Auxiliary and the Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary. For 18 years, Sharon was also a member of the Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade Committee.
Sharon was a talented crafter, enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her daughters.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Michelle (Tony) Franks and Dawn Boothe; and her grand puppies, Misschief, Rascal and Aubree.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Clara Stein.
Service Date October 12, 2018
Funeral services honoring Sharon’s life will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
