Sharon L. Ostman, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 with her husband nearby.

Born on February 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Greenwood.

On June 29, 1968, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Ostman in Wilton, MN. Sharon was an angel to Gib and now she officially earned her wings.

She began employment as a Nursing Assistant with St. Catherine’s Hospital and then with various nursing homes.  Sharon was an Assistant Manager for McDonalds for 18 years, until her retirement.

Sharon and Gib loved to watch college football and baseball.  They took several trips to Las Vegas and Canada and she loved going to casinos.

She is survived by her loving husband Gib of 53 years; her grandson, Aaron; her great grandson, Jordan; her brothers, Charles (Betty) Greenwood and Joe (Fran) Greenwood; her brother-in-law, Robert (Helen) Ostman; her pet dog, Tony; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Jason who passed away in 1994.

A special thanks to Ascension Hospital for their compassionate, kind, and loving care.
