A lifelong resident of Kenosha she was born on June 27, 1946 and was the daughter of the late James and Esther (Schultz) Schacht. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
On June 17, 1967 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church she was united in marriage to Daniel Andre, Sr.
Sandra dedicated her life to her family and was employed as a customer service representative with Sentry Foods and Supersaver.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Sandra was an excellent cook and baker. Her many homemade specialties included her scrumptious cheesecake and special family recipes. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and gardening, especially flowers; reading, especially horror stories; watching movies; the cooking channel; and game shows.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 48 years, Daniel Andre, Sr.; her children, Daniel (Kim Reiher) Andre, Jr., Deron (Christine) Andre, Brent Andre and Troy (Abby Rimstidt) Andre; her granddaughter, Alexandra Andre; her siblings, Gary (Lee) Schacht, Martin Schacht, Leilani Tobias, LorRain Davies, Lori (Rick) Peterson and Jamie (Sue) Schacht; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Schacht.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bharathi Pulla for the exceptional care she provided.
Funeral Services for Sandra will be held privately.
