Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruth Ann Arzt on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the age of 83. Ruth was born on February 20, 1941, in Kenosha, WI, where she lived and touched the lives of many throughout her years.
On December 19, 1970, she was united in marriage to James Arzt. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2002.
Ruth dedicated her life to the field of education, working as a 2nd Grade teacher within the Kenosha Unified School District. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.
She will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for those around her. May she rest in peace.
Ruth will be dearly missed by her sister, Jane Conhartowski and many loved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Marie (Chandonais) Schultz and her husband, James Arzt; sisters, Rhea Maurer and Donna Schultz; brother, Richard (Jeanine) Schultz.

SERVICE LOCATION St. Marys Catholic Church
Funeral services honoring Ruth’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 7400 39th Ave.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
A visitation for Ruth will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
