Born on June 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Rose Jackovich. He was a graduate of Calumet High School.
From 1957-1959, Rudolph proudly served as PFC in the U.S. Army.
On August 8, 1959 in Fort Riley, KS, he was united in marriage to June Hody. Their union was blessed with 62 years of marriage and four children.
Rudolph was employed as Sr. Chemical Operator for Abbott Laboratories retiring in 1994. He also was employed with Lakeshore Foundry from 1960 until 1966 and Merchant Marines from 1954 until 1957.
He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Catholic Church. Rudolph enjoyed walking, fishing an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. He loved listening to Polka Music by Frankie Yankovic and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, June Jackovich; his children, David, Jerome (Connie), Laura and John (Tina); his grandchildren, Susan (Jon), Shawn, Lindsey (Jeff), Stephanie (Bobby), Zachary and Hannah and his great grandchildren, Ava and Jonny.
In addition to his parents, Rudolph was preceded in death by his brother Edward and his sister, Rosemary.
Funeral services honoring Rudolph’s life will be held at a later date.
Interment took place in All Saints Cemetery.
