Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRuble R. Maxey, age 79 of Kenosha, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home in the loving care of his wife, Diana.
He was born on May 11, 1936 in Amory, MS, and was the son of Cleveland W. and Ruby B. (Miller) Maxey.
On June 30, 1956 at Good Hope Baptist Church, Amory, MS, he was married to Diana Golwitzer.
He served our country in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge on May 11, 1960.
Ruble retired from AMC/Chrysler after 30 years of service.
He was an active member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball team, bowling, fishing, hunting, dancing, playing pinochle and traveling with his wife, Diana. Most recently he enjoyed playing with his great grandsons.
Ruble is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diana Maxey; his son, Paul Maxey; his brothers, James and Robert; his grandson, Nick (Erin) Ulezelski and his great grandsons, Braydon and Blake Ulezelski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Junior; a sister, Doris; and his beloved daughter, Debbie Ulezelski.
Service Date March 4, 2016
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, 2001 80th Street. Full military honors will follow the service. Private inurnment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
