Born in Olney, IL on October 11, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Newberry) Mc Vaigh.
On May 3, 1953 in Sullivan, IL at First United Methodist Church, Rosemary was united in marriage to Brice E. Gustin. They were blessed with three children and over 55 years together; sadly, Brice passed away in 2008.
Her husband’s career with Montgomery Ward & Co. led them to live in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and finally settling in Kenosha; where she lived for 45 years. Sally was employed as an associate with Bank One and Chase.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church and of the Inner Wheel Club, one of the largest women’s voluntary organizations in the world promoting friendship and service. In her spare time, playing bridge, working puzzles or watching game shows brought her enjoyment. Sally’s greatest happiness was being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Marsha) Gustin, Michael Gustin and Susan Gustin Wells; her grandchildren, Jonathon Gustin, Jennifer Gustin, Lindsey Wells-Mychalczuk, Alec Wells and Remy Wells and her sister, Betty Mc Vaigh.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Aurora Medical Center for the loving care they provided.
Services for Rosemary will be held privately.
She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan, IL.
