Ron was born on December 30, 1933 in Kenosha a son of the late Norman C. and Marveile (nee: Foubert) Oley.
On April 29, 1994, Ron was united in marriage to Martha (nee: Williams) Cleveland in Kenosha.
He retired from United States Steel after 25 years of employment as a Pipe-Fitter.
Ron will be remembered for his love of collecting antiques and restoring Hot Wheels and Tonka Trucks. A jack of all trades, he had a special fondness for country music.
Survivors include the love of his life, Martha; his children, Michael Oley, Ronald W. Oley, Ronald G. Oley and Eileen Broude; his step children, Danny (Darlene) Cleveland, Debbie Semrow, and Dale (Tracy) Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Tammy and Lisa Broude, Frank, Adam, and Ryan Phillips, and Dustin, Connor, and Jayden Cleveland; three great grandchildren, Kyle Studebaker, Miranda Richards and Lillyona; his sister, Sheila Werner, and his dear friend, Manny.
Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tina Cleveland and his step sister.
Martha would like to extend her thanks to Ron’s physician of 20 years, Dr. Mitchell Ziarko, for the exceptional care he provided.
Service Date June 17, 2016
A Memorial Service honoring Ron’s life will be held TODAY, Friday, June 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.
