He was born June 3, 1937 in Chicago IL to the late Henry and Madelon (Gorski Doll). He attended local schools and graduated from Maine High School.
On January 25, 1958, he married Charlotte Dyson in Chicago. They were married for 65 years.
He was employed with NCL Graphics retiring at 58 to escape the harsh winters of Chicago. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Cindy (Chris) Knupp, Ronald (Kim) Richter and Jim (Mary) Richter; his grandchildren, Jamie, Lori, Ryan, Sara, Matt, Mark, Megan and Emily; his great grandchildren, Madeline, Miles, Harper and Cooper and his sisters, Lois (Andrew) Macchia and Marilyn (Edward) Bakka.

Memorial services honoring Ronald’s life will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, IL 60083. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for Mass.
Inurnment will follow in Millburn Cemetery, 18577 W. Millburn Rd., Mill Creek, IL 60083.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
