Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRobert (Bob) William Rinehart, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Bob was born on December 3, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Richard and Doris (Wittenmyer) Rinehart.
While serving in the US Navy at Great Lakes, he married Joyce M DeBruin on June 22, 1968. He was a loving father to his son, Stephen, and daughter-in-law, Lisa and to his daughter, Heidi, and son-in-law, Todd. Bob was a caring grandfather to Mica, Sabastian (Alyssa), Morgan (Coty) and Miranda and proud great grandfather to Jayce, James, Ariya, Lizzie, and Athena. He was also grateful for his sister-in-law, Bonnie, and friend, Lloyd, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bob attended St. Peter and Paul Elementary School and graduated from Purcell High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following his time in the Navy as an Electronics Technician, he moved to Pleasant Prairie and was employed by Eaton Corporation. Later he managed a Shell Gas Station, worked for Snap-on Tools, and was the Maintenance Manager at both Target and First United Methodist Church. He was scheduled to retire from his work at the church on December 31, 2024. He was also the owner of Rinehart Maintenance for many years.
He was a creative, kind and curious person who loved life, and his family very much. He enjoyed model railroading, camping and sailing and was a Past Commodore of the Kenosha Yacht Club. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Adrian and Margaret DeBruin and his brothers-in-law, Wally and Tom.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church, 909 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53140.
All are invited to visit family and friends on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
