Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRobert T. Ellis, age 81 of Kenosha, died on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Kenosha Senior Living with the care of Hospice Alliance, Inc. and his family by his side.
Born in Kenosha on November 17, 1934, he was the son of the late Tracy and Victoria (Lucjak) Ellis.
Robert proudly served his county in the Naval Reserves for 8 years.
On March 4, 1973, he was united in marriage to Judith Ann Rommelganger. After almost 34 years together, Judith passed away on January 22, 2007.
Robert was employed with American Brass in maintenance for 43 years.
He enjoyed NASCAR, car shows and was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packer fan! Robert and his wife enjoyed showing their 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle at many car shows. They proudly won 31 trophies and took “Best of Show”.
Robert is survived by his children, Timothy (Lisa) Chudada of Union Grove, Laura (Boyd) Ginter of Kenosha, Tracy (Tina) Ellis of Green Bay and David Ellis of Janesville, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and loving companion, Joann Brinkman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Judith.
Service Date August 25, 2016
Funeral services honoring Robert’s life will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 12 noon at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha,WI. Entombment in All Saints Mausoleum will follow.
