Born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1951, he was the son of Robert and Mary Ellen (Henry) Leeman. Robert attended St. Wenceslaus Elementary School graduated from Pious High School and began his veterinarian degree from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
On December 30, 1978, he was united in marriage to Laura Hill.
Robert was employed as a Sheet Metal Worker and worked on many projects including Miller Park Stadium and Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee until his retirement in 2000. He also worked for Chrysler in Milwaukee and Kenosha.
He was a member of the Local #18 Wisconsin Union for 25 years.
His biggest love was music, recording and listening to albums. He enjoyed playing his guitar. He was the life of the party, always charming and an amazing storyteller. He loved bowling with his friends, as well as golfing and playing softball. He was a huge Packer fan. He loved his dogs and hunting, especially pheasant hunting. Mostly, he loved his family of girls.
Robert was many things to many people, a son, loving husband and father, a supportive brother and uncle, caring grandfather, a dear friend and kind neighbor. He leaves behind his wife, Laura Leeman of 45 years; his daughter, Melody Leeman; his grandchildren, Kayla Siver, Christina Dale and Emily Dale; his brother, Tommy Leeman and sisters, Helen and Jackie and his fur babies, Marley and Fifi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Ellen Leeman, his daughter, Leyna Dale and sisters, Georgia Rechlitz and Jeanie Atkinson.

Memorial services honoring Robert’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue, Kenosha, WI.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
