Born on June 3, 1939 in Kenosha, he was the son of John and Marie (Moenssen) Lupia. Robert grew up attending local schools and graduated from Bradford High School in 1957. He later became a State Certified Journeyman after attending school with the State of WI Metal Apprenticeship and retired in 2001.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1963.
On April 20, 1963, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Walton in Wilmot, WI.
Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, woodworking, armchair quarterbacking for the Packers, R/C airplane building and flying and square dancing.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Melissa (James) Busse, Duane (Tammy) Lupia, Jon (Heide McKinney) Lupia; his grandchildren, Megan (Brandon) Nigh, Marcus (Heather) Busse, Adam (Jana Fiala) Lupia, Kaitlyn (Dan Schmidt) Lupia, Eric (Erin Swartzendruber) Lupia, Stefany (Nathan) Glassmeyer; his great-grandson, Bennett Glassmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and his brother George.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Alliance and Froedtert North and South for the excellent care and support they provided to Bob during his illness.

SERVICE LOCATION All Saints Cemetery
Memorial services honoring Robert’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 with full military honors at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Mausoleum Chapel, 3330 Springbrook Rd, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Due to public health concerns and in compliance with CDC guidelines, those in attendance are required to wear a face covering. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to Hospice Alliance Inc./Hospice House, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 is appreciated by the family.
