Mr. And Mrs. Pringle were our landlord as a child. Mr. Pringle was so much more to me and my family though, he was more like a grandfather. I was very young while living there (the memories I have are from 2-6 years old) but the memories I have from living there are my favorite. Mr. Pringle would come over a few times a week to check on the farm and other things, he would take a break on the big rock in our front yard around lunch time. I would immediately run to the kitchen, pull up a chair and make us pb&j sandwiches then join him out on the big rock. While we ate together we would talk about so many things, things like our day, what he did on the farm, his sweet wife, but most importantly all the cats we had! (We had 24 at one time- aka the best childhood ever) Mr. Pringle had one rule, no cats in the house. But he loved us so much we’d pull a few in from time to time for play dates. There was one time we brought a bunch in for a big kitty play date and he happened to stop by to check on something, me and my sisters couldn’t stop giggling trying to keep all the kittens quiet in the bedroom but in all reality he definitely knew they were in there! The Pringle house will forever be my favorite house we ever have or ever will live in, it was home. A detail Mr. Pringle even kept after we moved out was my eldest sister had painted the entire toy room with different color handprints, something that was there even to the day they had the house burned down. After we moved out we hadn’t seen the Pringle’s in quite a few years until we heard about him hosting a block party. My dad, sister and I went and when we saw Mr. Pringle he started calling for Mrs. Pringle that “our girls are here!!” Which made us teary as much that day as it is today reminiscing on such a great man. I was lucky enough to see them both one last time on a very important day, my wedding day. Having them there made my day even better then I ever expected. For them to see me go from this two year old chubby cheeked girl, into a married woman truly completed my day. The Pringles will forever hold a huge piece of my heart and I’ve definitely cried quite a bit seeing that he has passed. I know you’re in such a better place, save a place for me I’ll be there soon. I love you Mr. & Mrs Pringle, -love, your girl

We are very sorry for your loss of Mr. Pringle. We rented from Bob & Julie at the farm. Our girls loved him like a grandpa. They would make him a PB & J and sit on the big rock in the center of the driveways and eat lunch together on MANY occasions. He would always joke he was going to get fatter because Julie had either already fed him or he had to go eat with her too. Bob chatted about all of his kids & the grandkids too. He would always tell us Sundays were his favorite because he was able to talk to all of them on Sundays. We all have fond memories of Bob & he will be missed. Although, we will see him again in heaven.

Sorry for the loss of Bob. Condolences to the family. I worked for Bob and Julie on the farm when I was in high school 1971-1972. I learned a lot about farming and the dairy cow. I remember pasturing heifers on what is now Pringle Woods. Great memories of a fine dairyman
