Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRobert W. “Bob” Rosmann, Sr., age 82 of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa.
Born in Kenosha on October 15, 1936, he was the son of Leo B. and Helen (Skendziel) Rosmann.
On September 14, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he was married to Ruth E. Woller.
Bob was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and he attended grade school and high school there.
He was employed for twelve years by Rosmann Bros. Excavation and then thirty-five years with Quaker Industries of Antioch, IL.
Bob enjoyed gardening and reading; especially Civil War history, and he was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife if 61 years, Ruth Rosmann; two sons, Robert, Jr. (Marsha) and Richard (Jane) Rosmann; two daughters, Elizabeth (Roger) Bolton and Carolyn (Fred) Scollay; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Bernard and Kenneth Rosmann; and a sister, Kathleen (Byron) Biehn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Robert “Robby” Rosmann, III; and a granddaughter, Amanda Ewer.
Service Date November 15, 2018
Funeral Services honoring Robert’s life will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Entombment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
