Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintRobert C. “Bob” Schultz, age 75 of Kenosha passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Kenosha on September 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Charles and Irene (nee: Thomsen) Schultz.
From August, 1964 until his honorable discharge in July, 1966, he served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War.
On April 22, 1972 in Kenosha, he was united in marriage to Bonnie (nee: Hansen) Siegal.
Bob was employed in the IT Department for 32 years with Jockey International until his retirement.
He was a member of the Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14 in Kenosha and the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286; and played on their golf leagues. Bob enjoyed the time spent socializing with friends. He was a member of the Northside Happy Hour Social Club years ago where many laughs and great memories were made. He enjoyed Friday nights at Tina’s Somers Inn and Monday’s happy hour at Norms So Seldom Inn. Bob was an avid bowler, golfer and hunter. Bob‘s favorite spot for deer hunting was in Boulder Junction and Eagle River, and pheasant hunting on Washington Island and Bong Recreation Center. He loved traveling and spending time in Mesa, AZ in the winter. Bob was a huge Packer and Badger fan.
Bob will be remembered by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie Schultz; his children, Jeff (Cassie) Siegal of Utrecht, The Netherlands, Scott (Patti) Siegal and Tracy (Rich) Beltoya both of Kenosha; his grandchildren, Andrew Beltoya of Kenosha, Stephanie Thomas of Vancouver, WA, Michelle Siegal of Portland, OR, Dana Siegal, Jackson Beltoya and Dean Siegal all of Kenosha; and his great-grandchildren, Ellie, Maddie and Emery Thomas and Grayson Beltoya.
He is further survived by his siblings, Terry (Debbie) Schultz of Richland, WA and Karen (Jim) Wierzbecki of Kenosha; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Horton and Cheryl (Eddie) Jankowski both of Kenosha; several nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Dean and Bernice Hansen; and a grandson, R.J. Beltoya.
Service Date December 9, 2017
A Memorial Service honoring Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Full military honors will follow the service.
