Rita Brennan, age 85 of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Born in Kenosha on August 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Wierzbicki) Kieliszek. Rita attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. She also received her nursing degree from Gateway Technical College.
On September 23, 1951 in Kenosha, she was united in marriage to Roger Brennan.
Rita was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Kenosha Memorial Hospital and Shady Lawn West Nursing Home.
She lived in Kenosha her entire life and moved to Jacksonville, FL just four years ago.
Rita is survived by her two granddaughters, Breanne (Jim Baker) Brennan and Erin (Jarrett) Maurice; her two nieces, Holly (Gregory) Cleveland and Deborah (Bobby) Tiencken; her nephew, Daniel (Becky) Simmons; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Brennan, her brother-in-law, Richard Brennan and several cousins and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger in 1989; her son, Timothy Roger Brennan and her sister, Lorraine Simmons.
Service Date August 10, 2019
Funeral Services honoring Rita’s life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 3300 Springbrook Rd., Pleasant Prairie, followed by entombment. A visitation for Rita will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
